Mel is president of Bulk Transportation Services which he founded in 1992 after retiring from Penske Corporation. Mel has worked for over 50 years in the transportation industry. This includes working for Ryder, Hertz, Hill Truck Rental, Butler Manufacturing, Penske and as a manufacturer’s representative at J&L Tank and Heil.
Due to his wide-ranging expertise and reputation for providing his customers with quality equipment, Mel has been described as an “icon” of the industry.
